Eligibility Criteria for Rescue 1122 Jobs 2026

1. Emergency Medical Technician — BPS-12

• Qualification: Paramedical Diploma / Nursing / LHV (preference will be given to candidates with a Diploma in Health Technology & Surgical Technology).
• Age Limit: 22 to 35 years.

2. Fire Rescuer — BPS-11

• Qualification: F.Sc (Pre-Engineering) with a Diploma in Associate Engineering (DAE).
• Age Limit: 22 to 35 years.

3. Driver — BPS-06

• Qualification: Middle and physically fit, with a valid HTV/LTV driving licence.
• Age Limit: 22 to 35 years.

Physical Test & Selection Process

• Mandatory physical test: 1-mile run in 7 minutes for male candidates (height 5’6″ and chest 33″ minimum); 9 minutes for candidates aged 40 and above; and 1-mile run in 9 minutes for female candidates (height 5’2″).
• Passing threshold: 40% marks and above for BPS-01 to BPS-16 in the screening/written test and interview.
• Aggregate weightage: Educational criteria 70 marks, ETEA test 20 marks, interview 10 marks.
• ETEA will conduct ability/skill tests (driving, computer literacy, etc.) as a screening tool where required.
• Only valid driving licences issued by the Government of Pakistan will be considered for the Driver posts (fresh-apply tokens will not be accepted).
• Selected candidates will undergo a medical examination at Police & Services Hospital, Peshawar, mandatory 6-month training, and must produce a Police Clearance Certificate before appointment.

1. Check the zone breakup and eligibility on the ETEA website (www.etea.edu.pk) and the Rescue-1122 KP website (rescuekp.gov.pk).
2. Deposited amount is Non-Refundable / Non-Transferable.
3. Applications that are incomplete or received late will not be considered.
4. Only short-listed candidates after scrutiny of documents will be allowed for physical test.
5. NOTA/DA shall be given when called for a test/interview.
6. Relaxation in age (army/civil) shall be entertained as per rules.
7. No of posts can be increased or decreased at any stage.
