The Institute of Management Sciences (also known as IMSciences) is a public sector government-owned autonomous institution recognized by Higher Education Commission Islamabad and working under NWFP Ordinance No. XXXVII of 2002. The institute was founded in 1995 from elements of the University of Peshawar. In 2011, it was ranked 7th in the Business Category by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.

In addition to the documents listed above, applicants for the positions of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor must also submit detail of research publications in HEC-recognized journals, as well as completed research projects where they served as Principal Investigator (PI) or Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI) or equivalent along with documentary evidence.
6. Candidates applying for the post at serial No. 1 are required to submit three (03) sets of documents. For faculty positions a candidate must not have 3rd division throughout his/her academic career. 7. Foreign degree holders must provide an equivalent certificate from HEC. The candidate serving in government, semi government and autonomous institution must apply through proper channel.
