Applicants must carefully review and select the appropriate category before applying:

• 1. DFT External-General Applicant:
  • Professional Education: Must be a resident of Pakistan/AJK, below 19 years of age, admitted to eligible public-sector institutions, currently studying in Intermediate (Year 1) with specific matric marks (70% for ICS, Arts, Home Economics; 80% for Medical, Engineering, General Science). Family house in urban area must be a maximum of 120 sq. yards, and parent/guardian monthly income must not exceed Rs. 70,000.
  • Vocational and Technical Education: Resident of Pakistan/AJK, admitted to eligible government/approved programs with 50%+ matric marks, program duration of 6 months to 2 years, urban house size max 120 sq. yards, and guardian monthly income not exceeding Rs. 70,000.
• 2. DFT Internal Third-Party Worker / Family Member:
  • Professional & Vocational Education: For Pakistani students admitted to eligible public-sector institutions (can apply from Grade 8 onwards for professional education) requiring at least 50% matric marks and a parent/guardian monthly income limit of Rs. 90,000/month.
