About
Founded in 2000, the National Engineering and Scientific Commission (NESCOM) administers several Pakistani defense development programs, including the National Defense Complex (NDC) and the Air Weapons Complex (AWC). NESCOM oversees a total staff of 16,000 employees and its overarching mission is to promote Pakistani “proficiencies in nuclear and ballistic missile development and production” with a “focus on developing conventional military hardware for the Pakistani military and export markets.” According to defense analyst Usman Shabbir, NESCOM and the NDC continue to drive Pakistan’s missile program as of 2008.
Andrew Koch considers NESCOM’s establishment an indication of the strong priority placed on missile development in Pakistan’s R&D strategy. Under NESCOM oversight, the NDC contributed to the development of the intermediate-range Ghauri-3 missile and Pakistan’s first cruise missile, the Hatf-7/Babur. NESCOM also oversaw the AWC during the development of the Ra’ad air-launched cruise missile.

- Qualification Criteria:- National Engineering and Scientific Commission NESCOM Jobs 2026
a. For Sr. #1: The required degree must be in 1″ Division with minimum 2,50/4.00 CGPA in Semester System/minimum 60% marks in Annual System.
b. For Sr. #2to5: The required degree must be in 1″ Division with minimum 60% Marks.
c. For Sr. #1 to 5(1): Only one 2 Division is allowed in entire educational career, however, no 3rd Division is allowed. - Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates must be from HEC/PEC/Govt. recognized Institutes as applicable, For A-Level /O-Level/Foreign Degree, equivalence certificates from IBCC/HEC are required clearly mentioning division/percentage/CGPA.
- The prescribed educational qualifications must have been acquired on or before the Closing Date for submission of applications.
- “Post Qualification Experience” means the experience gained after date of attaining the required qualification till the Closing Date
- Minimum age limit for above mentioned posts is 18 years, whereas upper age limit is 35 years. The cut-off date for calculation of age is the closing date for submission of applications as given in the advertisement. Upper age limit can be relaxed in case of specialized experience/qualification.
- Only the candidates who fulfil prescribed eligibility criteria may apply. Candidature of those who do not fulfil the requirements and apply for any of the above positions, may be cancelled at any stage during the process of selection or subsequently and no claim whatsoever will be acceptable during and after selection.
- Employment will be offered against Contributory Pension Fund (CPF)/Provident Fund (PF) as per Govt. policy issued from time to time.

- Where the last degree is First division, only one Second division from Matric onward is acceptable for eligibility. Candidates having Third division in academic career will not be eligible.
- First Class / 1st Division means CGPA 2.5/4.00 for semester system or minimum 60% marks for annual system of examination.
- Post qualification experience means, the experience gained after date of attaining the required qualification till the closing date of advertisement.
- Maximum age limit on closing date of advertisement is 35 years. However relaxation in age limit to government serving / retired employees will be granted as per rules.
- Candidates already serving in government / semi government organizations who meet the criteria must apply through proper channel.
- Degrees / Certificates should only be from universities / institutions as recognized by the PEC and HEC where applicable.

- Only Pakistani nationality holders are eligible to apply. Dual nationality (self / spouse) are not eligible.

- Selection of candidates will be made on provisional basis and joining will be subject to complete Security Clearance and Medical Fitness.
