The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), ( مشارکتِ سوئی جنوبی گیس) formerly known as Sui Gas Transmission Company Limited, is a Pakistani natural gas supply company based in Karachi, Pakistan. The Government of Pakistan directly and indirectly owns the majority of the shareholdings of the Company.
The company in its present shape was formed on March 30, 1989, following a series of mergers of three pioneering companies, namely Sui Gas Transmission Company Limited, Karachi Gas Company Limited and Indus Gas Company Limited.
Sui Southern Gas Company is Pakistan‘s leading integrated gas company. The company is engaged in the business of transmission and distribution of natural gas in southern part of Pakistan- mainly in Sindh and Baluchistan. Sui Southern Gas Company transmission system extends from Sui, Balochistan to Karachi, Sindh.
The company also owns and operates the only gas meter manufacturing plant in the country, under an agreement with Schlumberger Industries, France. The Company is listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange. On 11 January 2016, all 3 local city stock exchanges merged to form Pakistan Stock Exchange.

Oracle Application Functional Administrator
Qualification & Experience:
ACCA or MBA (Finance) with at least 06 years of experience of Oracle Financial (AR, AP, GL, FA) and Oracle Projects.
Responsibilities:
Candidate must have experience in Implementation of 1 full Lifecycle of Oracle Financials (AR, AP, GL, FA) and Oracle Projects. Understanding of business processes, its mapping with Oracle e-business is necessary. Candidate should be able to independently provide business solutions. Must have Oracle Fusion knowledge.
Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated experience as a senior resource assisting in system strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit – gap analysis, as-is and to be business process designs, prototype demonstration, functional configuration, testing, training documentation and end user training.
- Setups related to Budgetary Control (Centralized and De-Centralized), Security and Cross-Validation Rules, FSG, Deprecation, Key and Descriptive Flex fields, Pro-rate Conventions, Mass Additions, Profile Options, Responsibilities, Menus, Users, Sequential Numbering etc.
- Reconciliation cycles between subsidiary modules and General Ledger with understanding of Sub ledger Accounting (XLA)
- Working knowledge of SQL and Integration with other systems via interfaces and working knowledge of APIs.
- Forms Personalization for any additional control implementation not available in standard application.
- Must be in reference to implementation of the Oracle Financials, Supply Chain and Oracle Projects module.
- Ability to multi-task, have good time management, be able to service multiple projects, plan, and remain organized.
- Effective written and verbal communications a must, ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Independently handle all matter related to Oracle Financial modules (AR, AP, GL, FA), Supply Chain modules and Oracle Project Costing module.
- Implementation of new modules, enhanced existing available functionalities and upgrade to new Oracle releases including with proper documentation.
- Coordinate with end user department and other business users for day to day activities and ASAP amicable resolution of the issues.
- Maintains knowledge of current and upcoming technologies.
- Coordination with Oracle Support, System & Database Administration team.

Oracle CC&B Senior Functional Consultant
Qualification & Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in functional role and project management including Oracle CC&B Version 2.x working experience with Bachelor Degree in Computers Science (4 years) or Masters in Computer Science.
Responsibilities:
The role is responsible for implementing the CC&B solution for SSGC internal & external customers with their satisfaction, quality and timelines. Must be adept in Technical and Functional knowledge.
Experience in implementing Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing & upgrading experience will be a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
- systems implementation experience involving configuration, development, and/or technical or functional testing in for products for the Utilities Industry
- Play role of Support and lead for CC&B implementation & upgrade at SSGC. Lead the effort for to-be process design, configure package, develop, and implement phases.
- Business Process Mapping and Analysis
- Strong organization and leadership skills (prioritization of tasks, schedule management, resource management).
- Understand key implementation & upgrade issues and implement solutions using Oracle CC&B’s functionality.

Qualification & Experience:
- MBA or Masters in Supply Chain Management.
- At least 2 years of working experience of Government/Semi Government in handling the procurement locally & internationally as well as handling the projects within the ambit of PPRA Rules/Government Policies/SROs.
Responsibilities:
- Handling/Management of tendering and bid opening process.
- Preparation of Commercial Evaluation Reports.
