Nationality

Citizens of Pakistan and Domicile Holders of Azad Kashmir/Gilgit-Baltistan. Upon final selection, candidates with Dual Nationality/ Green Card/ Iqama/ Residence Permit will have to surrender nationalities other than Pakistani.

Eligibility Criteria

Academic Prerequisites
Marks – FSc (Pre-medical): ► Minimum 70% marks in FSC or A level passed in Biology, Physics and Chemistry with minimum grade C. ► Candidates having domicile of Balochistan, Sind(District Tharparkar, Omar Kot), Northern Areas, Azad kashmir(Uppper Neelum Valley) and FATA can apply with 65% marks. ►Candiates possesing foreign qualification such as ‘O’ levels and ‘A’ level etc will be required to obtain Equivalence Certificate and conversion of marks from interboard Committee of Chairman (IBCC), Ministry of Education, Islamabad and attach it with application form.
Hope Certificate: ► Candidates who have passed FSC Part-I Examination with 70% marks and appeared/ are appearing in FSc Part-II / Final Examination can also apply on ‘Hope Certificate’ duly issued by Head of the Institution. ► Such candidates must deposit an attested copy of FSc II Certificate/ Mark Sheet to PA Directorate PA(3C) GHQ Rawalpindi within 5 days of announcement of results, otherwise their selection will not be processed further.
Important Points: ►IT IS MANDATORY FOR CANDIDATES TO APPEAR AND PASS FRESH NUMS MDCAT-2026 FOR ADMISSION IN ARMY MEDICAL COLLEGE. ►PASSING PERCENTAGE CRITERIA, 55% MARKS FOR ADMISSION IN BDS COURSE. ►REGISTRATION WEBSITE WILL BE OPEN FOR UPLOADING OF NUMS-MDCAT RESULT FOR ONE WEEK AFTER ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULT BY NUMS. Twice Not Recommended by GHQ selection Board.
Permanently declared UNFIT by Appeal Medical Board(PUF by AMB). Declared UNFIT by any armed forces hospital except those cleared by Appeal Medical Board.
Declared medically UNFIT due to hepatitis B and C (Appeal medical board cannot be requested).
Enrolled Cadets and Recruits Withdrawn/Resigned/Discharged/Dismissed from Armed Forces(Army,Navy and Air Force) training academies/instituitions on the grounds of discipline, character, medical, inefficiency, weak profile, own request or declared unsuitable.
An individual dismissed/removed from any other government service.
Convicted by a Court of Law for an offence involving moral turpitude.

Registration And Preliminary Selection Process
Registration through Internet.Candidates can register on website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk.Individuals have to visit the website for exam slip after succesfully registering him self, normally it take 5 to 7 working days for generation of exam slip. Candidates will report on exact date and time given for preliminary test on computerized roll no slip. Date once given will not be changed. Candidates will also bring along documents (as per the list mentioned in advertisement). Candidates MUST attain working knowledge of computer as registration and tests will be conducted on computers.
Fee is required to be deposited in NBP GHQ Branch (IBAN Number:-PK46NBPA0330004256466227) with title as ‘Registration and Examination Fee Personnel Administration Directorate’. Candidates will bring these documents on the day of test as well.
Written/Intelligence Tests: Written/Intelligence tests will be based on multiple choice questions. The candidates declared successful in written/intelligence tests will undergo physical/ medical tests and interviews at Army Selection and Recruitment Centres (AS&RCs).
Physical Tests: Following criteria has been set for all candidates:-
► 1 Km Run – 8 minutes
► Push Ups – 15 repetitions in 2 minutes
► Situps – 15 repetitions in 2 minutes

Further Selection Process
Shorlisted Candidates will recieve notice for intelligence/personality and interviews by the GHQ selection board at Army Medical College Rawalpindi through website as call up letter. Medical examination of recommended candidates will be carried out at nearby CMHs. Final selection will be made at GHQ on the basis of candidates overall performance.
MBBS Course. 5 Years study at any Army Medical College Rawalpindi BDS Course. 4 Years study at Army Medical College Rawalpindi.
Military Training. 22 x weeks Basic Military Training at PMA Kakul, after completion of final professional examination.

►1x attested photocopy of Matric certificate in case of O-Level/ A-Level, submission of equivalence certificate issued by IBCC is mandatory.
►1x attested photocopy ofCoumputerized National Identity Card or Form B issued by NADRA
► 1 x attested of FSc part I (pre-medical) details marks certifiate and Hope Certificate from principle of college that the candidate will get minimum 70% marks in FSc part II examination..
► Attested passport size photographs must be pasted on Application form.
► Candidates who have already cleared FSc Part-II (Pre-Medical) will produce 1 x attested photocopy of detail marks sheets(DMC).

BOND. Finally selected candidates will be required to sign a bond to serve the Army for a minimum period of 13 years. The applicability of bond will commence on successful completion of MBBS degree course at respective medical college.
