Functions of Balochistan Public Service Commission

According to the Balochistan Public Service Commission Act, 1989 and the Balochistan Public Service Commission (Functions) Rules, 1995, The Chater of duties of the Commission Incllude:-

Conduct of Test, Examination and Interviews for initial recruitment to

A) The Civil Sevices of the Province in B-16 to B-21, except those specified in the schedule appended to these rules

B) Any Other Posts Which may be referred to the commission for recruitment by the Government

For the efficient and Smooth discharge of functions, the Balochistan Public Service Commission is performing its function with the following operational branches which are futher divided into the different sections wings:-

• (02) Associate Professor / Principal (Physical Education) (B-19): Master’s Degree (1st Division) in Physical Education with 7 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor / Physical Education Research.
• (04) Assistant Professor / Deputy Director (Physical Education) (B-18): Master’s Degree (2nd Division) in Physical Education with 5 years teaching experience at College level.
• (19) Lecturer in Physical Education (B-17): M.A/M.Sc (2nd class) in Physical Education with three years teaching experience of Physical Education at College Level.
• (01) Senior Registrar (B-18) (Clinical Sub-Specialties) in Postgraduate Medical Institute: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification registered by PM&DC and MD/MS/FCPS in the relevant specialty.
• (01) Senior Registrar (B-18) (Clinical Sub-Specialties) in Trauma Centre & Emergency Department: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification registered by PM&DC and MD/MS/FCPS in the relevant specialty.
• (03) Assistant Engineer (B-17) in Divisional Directorates Development (Field Offices): 2nd class Degree in B-Arch, BE (Civil Engineering) from a recognized university and registration with PCATP/PEC.
• (02) Senior Instructor (B-18) (Female) (Regional Training Institute): MBBS or MCPS from a recognized Medical College or University with Diploma in Gynae and Obstetrics (DGO) from PGMI or any recognized medical institute.
• (01) Post of Sister Tutor (B-17) (Regional Training Institute): Three (3) years Diploma in General Nursing and having valid registration with Pakistan Nursing Council.
• (105) Agriculture Officer / Research Officer (B-17) in Agriculture Extension Wing: Master’s degree (at least Second Division) in Agriculture from a recognized University or Bachelor’s (Honours) degree.
• (01) Post of Assistant Director (Sports) (B-17): Master’s Degree at least in (Second Division) in Physical Education and Certificate of 1st or 2nd Position in any individual National Sports Events.
• (01) Post of Legal Officer (B-17): Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) at least in Second Division from a recognized University and having at least three (3) years experience as a practicing advocate.

2. Applicants can download the auto-generated Challan Form from the BPSC’s website to deposit the application processing fee.
3. For those candidates who have submitted their application by hand or sent by mail/post, their roll no slips will be dispatched to their postal address as well as they will be intimated through sms.
4. Admission Certificates/Roll no slips for Screening (MCQ’s Test/Written test) for posts applied will be placed on the website of BPSC i.e. www.bpsc.gob.pk. Candidates are advised to frequently visit this website. They will be intimated through SMS as well.
5. No extra time is allowed for postal transit etc.
6. APPLICATION FEE: Application Fee Structure: BPS-19 Posts: Rs. 2500/-, BPS-18 Posts: Rs. 1200/-, BPS-17 & BPS-16 Posts: Rs. 800/-. The amount should be deposited in the State Bank/National Bank of Pakistan only in the province of Balochistan or Government Treasury authorized to transact business on behalf of Government of Balochistan under the Head C02101 ORGAN OF STATE EXAM. FEE RECEIPT BPSC with incorporating the relevant RCO/District-wise Code in Challan. The RCO/District-wise code is available on the official website of this Commission i.e. www.bpsc.gob.pk.
7. Applications that are incomplete or received late will not be considered.
8. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a test/interview.
9. TA/DA will not be permitted for the test/interview.
10. The closing date of availability for this job is 14th October, 2026.
